About Morzine:
Morzine is a
lively and pictoresque resort at the heart of
Les Portes du Soleil, the largest internationally
linked ski
area in the world. Morzine is approximately
50 miles/75 minutes
from Geneva and combines traditonal savoyard charm
with fantastic

Les Portes du Soleil offers something for all abilities ranging
from total beginners

runs, bask in the sunshine

off for the day on a circuit of the area covering Chatel, Switzerland and Avoriaz.
Other Activities
Take a break from the piste to experience the beauty of you surroundings from a
horse drawn sleigh or, for the more adventurous, take a helicopter ride or parapent
from the mountain side, gliding over the village to the nursery slopes (safely harnessed
to an instructor). Try out the indoor ice-rink where or watch the weekly, exciting hockey matches. There are regular
skiing and snowboarding displays on the flood-lit Pleney slopes. Put away your
skis and try a hair raising ride on a toboggan or explore the starlit mountains
by skidoo.

Morzine has an array of ski/snowboard, clothes and souvenir shops,

For apres skiers there is plenty going on; two cinemas show films in English
once a week, you can catch that all important match on the big screen at one of
the many bars or enjoy a game of pool. Check out the music in the Buddha or
Cavern bar and, if at 2 am, you are still up for a dance then the Opera or the
Paradis doors are open to you.
